Barcelona assistant coach Alfred Schreuder insists his side still have a chance of winning LaLiga despite missing out on a chance to overtake leaders Atletico Madrid.
The two teams drew 0-0 at Camp Nou last night for Atleti two points to lead the top with three games remaining this season.
However, the result paves the way for Real Madrid, who have the advantage of a meeting record – meaning they are able to lead the Spanish scene with a win over Sevilla, early tomorrow morning.
Schreuder, who took on post-match media duties due to Ronald Koeman’s two-match suspension, is confident Barca can still emerge champions.
He said: “We realize that we have to depend on the results of other matches.
“Let’s see what will happen between Madrid and Sevilla. We know that our fate depends on others but still have a chance to win LaLiga.
“We were where we wanted to be three months ago.”
