MADRID: Real Madrid are planning a big buy -in this summer that is proving crucial to the club’s future as they are said to be trying to sign Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
Madrid have gone through an uncertain season in Spain with them now third in LaLiga but have reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time in their last two campaigns and will face Liverpool next month.
The club are desperate to be crowned again as King of Europe and Marca reports they are now willing to spend big bucks to get Mbappe and Haaland to realize that wish.
The publication also reported that trying to get back five -time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo was not an option.
Ronaldo’s future at Juventus remains unclear after reports linked him to a move after severe criticism was received in Italy.
One of them was the defeat in the Champions League to Porto last month.
However, the Spanish giants seem to be trying to get the 36 -year -old Portuguese star back.
